A few good hours, 1 glitch to work out and the website, including donation pages, will be live! Monday and today’s training in memory of John Tipping II. John, a NYC firefighter, worked the night before the attacks and his company, Battalion 9, Engine 54, Ladder 4 was one of the first to arrive on scene. Training Saturday, November 23rd

November 23rd training run in honor of SSG Matt “Blackbeard” Pucino a Green Beret who felt compelled to join the military after the horrors of 9/11. Matt was a colleague and brother in arms of my friend and Green Beret, John Harper. Matt lost his life 4 years ago today protecting a convoy of 48 others. Thank you for your service Matt, my 14 miles today and my run tomorrow are for you!

Training Thursday November 21st

Today I ran for Jason Cayne who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald and was at his desk on the 104th floor of the North Tower. Jason was a married father with 3 daughters. A beautiful, brisk 8.25 miles this morning with 5 half mile hill repeats before the rooster crowed.
